Available Courses

  • This course is designed to assist dietitians in meeting cultural competence requirements of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (HPCAA), and to address the health inequalities affecting Mäori.

    The course complements the NZ Dietitians Boards Guidelines for Cultural Competence. It is based on the resource booklet Best Health Outcomes for Maori: Practice Implications which was prepared for the Medical Council of New Zealand by Mauri Ora Associates.
